*Fashion* : Rock the wedges

There are times in our shopping lives when we look at one item and we fall in love, you know that feeling, right? Well, It just happened to me ( like many other times in the past, * shocking * ).

This time I fell in love with the below Nine West wedges that are to die for!  El Salvador is a very very warm country, it's like summer all year long, even though it rains, you will still feel hot ! that's how it is, a lot of people from other countries tell me that they envy my weather because it's always sunny and hot.  I think it has its advantages, but on the fashion side, it makes me mad that I can't wear as many scarves and cute jackets because of that ! so everytime it gets a little cold, I never miss the opportunity to wear something like that.

Well, enought about the weather, below are the wedges I'm talking about. I love to pair them with cropped jeans ( it makes me look so tall ! yay ! ) but above all, they are extremely confortable, it's amazing, I'm in love. In the future, I will be styling them with dresses, so I'll be posting back on that too :)

I put together the outfit below, this is basically how I go to work, love a casual, girly, fresh look.

Cool place to visit

Hey there !  Just wanted to show you some of the pics I took over my last weekend.

I went to this lake that is about 1 hour away from San Salvador ( The capital of El Salvador ) and the funny thing about it is that it has changed its color !

 

No one knows why actually, well...scientists suppose that it is because of some seaweed that is blue and green and that has changed the color from very dark blue to turquoise ! I think they don't know exactly at this moment and maybe they'll come up with something else later.

 

In the meantime, I took the opportunity to go take a peek on this changing lake and took a couple of pictures that I'm sharing below, we had a really nice time and trust me, there was A LOT of people doing the same, I mean, who wouldn't be curious about this?

Hey there!
It's Sunday.. I know, tomorrow a new week and attitude.
On Sunday we feel a little nostalgic since the weekend is coming to an end but still, you have a couple of hours, so you better enjoy them and make the most out of them.

Trip to El Salvador

The weekend is here! What are you going to do ?

I have a recommendation for you : if you are from outside El Salvador you gotta come, if you are in El Salvador, you gotta go ! Come on, let's do some local tourism.

Last weekend I went to Chalatenango which is a department in El Salvador ( El Salvador is divided in 14 departments ), so, this one is up in the North and it's supossed to be colder than the rest...but since the weather is crazy these days, it is no longer like that, but still you get to stay away from the city and the hectic world and go to a calmer and peaceful place.

Our pick last week was the hotel Entre Pinos, it is the best hotel you can find there, it's really confortable and pretty.  Food is great, you can find anything! from delicious typical breakfast Salvadorean style, to pasta, hamburgers, seafood, you name it, they have it.

You can bring your beverages to the hotel, some snacks and you go out to picnic in all the places there are inside.  It's a huge place ! 2 pools, horseback riding, bike riding, a lake with swans, animals everywhere, lots of cabanas.  You will have fun in this place !

This is one of the pools I was telling you about. Right behind it is that mountain, how refresing right?

And next to the pool is the restaurant.

 

We took a tour to some waterfalls that are nearby and this is the trail that we had to follow to get

to the river, cross it and get to the waterfalls. Unfortunately, the weather is not so good this

time of the year and river was to big and it would have been a little dangerous to cross, but hey! we got to walk through the nature and clean our lungs.

 

 

Hope you like this about El Salvador, it sure was a relaxing and fun experience!

 

 



Finally the weekend!!

Congrats again, you have not only survived monday but also the whole week!!

This has been a crazy week, hasn't it? Fashion Week started yesterday with Fashion Night Out and tons of events throughout New York. Wish there were things like that in Central America..

Pippa in NY ! You sure ?

Pippa Middleton in New York...what do you think? Trying to be an all-american girl.. Do you think she will be going to the Fashion Week events starting TOMORROW? How exciting right !  ( Fashion Week of course ) Feel like just a couple of months ago I was following the Fashion Night Out and now here we are again !

Back to Pippa now..According to the Huffington Post, she is looking for apartments in NY! Move over Katie Holmes you will proable get some competition with the paparazzis... but, is Pippa worth watching? I know I´m talking about her, but why is she so special? I don´t know..but to me, this girl has to do something other that walk down the streets...

More changes on E! Channel

Are you a fan for E! News or anything related to E! ?, I just love that network, it's the best !

Well...I just red that they are making more changes to E! News, adding a new member to be Giuliana's co-Anchor. Does this means that Ryan Seacrest won't be returning...? The new person to be with Giuliana giving us all the important celebrities news ( because they are important  ) will be Terrence Jenkins.  According to Us Weekly he works at BET, as per the network, his energy will match with Giuliana's and they will be the perfect team to give us all the details on celebrities.

Here is a brif about Terrence: As per Wikipedia, He was born on April 21, 1982 ( 30 years ), better known as Terrence J, is an American actor and television personality best know as the host of BET'S popular music video countdown show 106 & Park, which, at the time, was BET'S number one rated show for African Americans.

What about Jason Kennedy? He is really cute and he had a great chemistry with G! What about him?
