Get me some Leopard !

Hello everybody !

Recently I have been seeing many leopard prints, it's no secret that it has been going on for over a year now and it looks like it is staying  ( yey ! ), I looove animal print, I think it's very sophisticated and when you wear a piece that has this print it just changes your outfit completely, you don't need too many accessories when you have the print going on.

I've been dying to get leopard flats and also a leopard clutch but I haven't found any of them ! So, once I do, I will be posting on that and let's hope it's going to be soon !

Here is some of my leopard wishes at the moment, I wouldn't get mad if I found anything like this where I live :)

Baby pink and Blue

Hello everybody !

Today I wanted to post an outfit I created for myself.  It is a combination of a skinny baby pink jeans and the most confortable top I have purchased so far, which is blue.  Combined they are a great match, you have all the sweetness going on in the bottom and you stamp the strong element with a dark tone blouse.

Here it is, I used it for a brunch I got invited and got some compliments :).

It is ideal for a casual day, you know, brunch, lunch or coffee in the afternoon or whatever it is casual for you :).

BTW, the top is from Pull & Bear.

I bought this necklace some time ago in a local store.

I loved the combination of all the colors.

 

I found this skinny jeans at Stradivarius.  I really wanted a different tone jeans other that BLUE JEANS, getting bored of those...Unfortunately, I haven't found so many colored skinnies, but still looking for them !

DIY: Untangle that necklace

Hi everybody !
This is the story about a necklace I bought a year ago in a trip to Miami, it was supossed to be like a golden/silver braid, beautiful necklace when I bought it.  Well, to make a long story short, when I came back to El Salvador, it was all tangled ( from the packing, the trip, etc ), so tangled that I couldn't wear it and so I decided to put it away and fix it SOMEDAY...

Well, that SOMEDAY arrived last weekend haha after a year I decided to fix this necklace and it came in such a good time because I needed that combination since I'm lacking of silver necklaces ( I'm way in to gold tones lately ), so here are the pics and an idea for you and case you have once of these cases.. :)

This is the braid I was talking about... not so beautiful after all..

It was supossed to look like this all over the necklace..

 

So, what I did is separate the 3 sets of  gold/silver 'lace' , just grab a tweezer and open the clamps.

 

Once the 'laces' are in order, just grab the tips in one clamp on each side.

 

 

And tada ! here is the new necklace ! It became kind of a statement necklace.

I'm thinking about pairing it with a black button blouse I just bought :).

 

 

It's never too late to do something or fix something you already have, believe me, once you do, you will feel like you have something new and pretty :)

Hello ! How is this week going so far?

I have decided to start dieting tomorrow...maybe I'm still on time to achieve that weight loss goal we all set at the beginning of the year ( every year ! ).

 

Talking about colors and fashion, I liked a trend that I spotted in last Sunday's Emmy Awards and it is the fact that many actresses wore tangerine ! don't you just love this color? I love it on my nails like I wore it for my last post about bangles here but I think it also looks beautiful in clothes.

Love Bangles

Hello ! How was your weekend? Hope it was great !

I decided to go do some shopping over the weekend and found some insane bangles, I fell in love the minute I saw them.  Colors are black and gold and  the set has 4 bangles, the thing I loved the most is that it includes one with spikes which are so trending right now.

When I wear bangles, I try to keep it a little low key with the necklace since I want all the attention to be in my embellished wrist :)  Hope you like them: P.S: they's from Pull & Bear.

 

Wear them altogether to make a statement.

Say Hello to Yellow !

Hello ! How was your first day of the week? Hope it was nice !

Yesterday at the Emmy's, we spotted some trends and among them we will talk about the yellow one. Many actresses decided to wear this tone and I think it's amazing.  Yellow gives life and makes you stand out so much.  I think it is a color that a lot of people is afraid of but if you mix it right, it can't go wrong.  Besides, yellow is an elegant color, so you will definetly look glamorous and up to date.

Here is the yellow inspiration from the Emmys:

Claire Danes from Homeland. Wearing a bright yellow gown by Lanvin.

He made a pregnant women look confortable and so chic. She really took a risk with this color, most pregnant actresses wear neutral/dark colors for these types of events.

Leslie Mann - Naeem Khan gown. This dress looks like so much fun, you can tell she is having a good time wearing it.  Love the pockets, very helpfull.

Jualianne Moore - Dior haute couture. I love the color but I don't love the top. I think her breasts look weird, like way too pressed down, maybe with a different cleveage it would have looked more fresh.

Julie Bowen - Monique L'Huillier. I love this dress, she looks stunning and so radiant, but hey, who wouldn't be radiant after winning an Emmy?!?!

 

Hannah Simone - from new girl. Wearing Emilio Pucci. 

This dress is really cute, very flowy and relaxed. 

 

Kaley Couco wearing an Angel suarez dress. The dress is nice, a little too long for her though.

Hair and make up...could have been a lot better, she looks kinda tacky...sorry.

Giving this trend, I have pulled 3 outfits very different but following the yellow dress style:

This outfit mixes all bright colors so we get colorblocking.  The blazer gives it a more casual look and the clutch, OMG the bright PINK clutch is the one that will make heads turn to you ! finish the look with some nude pumps.

 

 

This one is for the night out, you know, when you go out with your friends have a good time and you just wanna look hot yet classy.  I love this dress because it doesn't reveal too much, it just hugs you in the right places.   Tone it down with the gray tones on your shoes and give it a little twist with your red clutch.

 

I really love this outfit. The dress is so cute, it is perfect for an afternoon out or a casual dinner.  Love the camel tones ( obsessed with it ) and how crazy are those leopard flats? To die for ! spice it up with the bright blue earring and you're good to go !

 

 





 

 

 



Emmy's Fashion Spotting

Did you watch the Emmy's yesterday? Did your favourite series win? Mine did ! Modern Family, of course ! I'm so happy that Eric Stonestreet ( Cameron ) and Julie Bowen ( Claire ) won and also the series won for Outstanding Comedy Series. If you haven't seen this show, you have to, it's a must, I'm crazy about it, everytime I wanna laugh my you know what off I watch this, it's hilarious !!

So, talking fashion, I loved Sofía Vergara´s dress, I love her  ( The way she plays Gloria is the best - From Modern Family ), she is latin and so am I, so we have to support our latin talent. 

Below is a list of the dresses I totally loved, I bet you have a list like this too ! So let´s talk fashion!

Sofía Vergara wearing Zunair Murad and Neil Lane jewels. Just a simple gown and jewels..yeah right. Gorgeous!

 

Jane Levy - from Suburgatory ! When I saw this I didn´t even imagine it was her ! so different on TV, right? Love the color, looks great with the hair ! Gotta love electric blue, makes you stand out.

 

Ms. Kelly Osbourne - wearing a taffeta gown by Zac Posen. She is looking the best ever !

 

Claire Danes from Homeland, who BTW won an Emmy ! Gorgeous design for a pregnant woman with plenty of room for some extra growth or eating, I should get one like that..hmm.

 

 

Julia Louis-Dreyfus.  This woman has an insane body! I wanna be like her when a grow up even more ! Wearing Vera Wang.

 

 

Brooke Burke - I remember her when she was on Wild On on E!. Beautiful dress, I also wanna be like her when I grow up, although a body like that right now wouldn´t hurt me either!

 

The funny Julie Bowen who took home an Emmy for being Claire on Modern Family. Wearing Monique L´Huillier. GORGEOUS !

Hayden Panettiere wearing Marchesa... I think she is too short for this dress. Nicole Kidman could have pulled this off !

 

Emily VanCamp in a J. Mendel gown - Beautiful dress but not so beautiful color and make up, she is pretty and I think she could have done better, maybe a different dress color?

 

Ginnifer Goodwin - Another actress from one of my other favourite shows: Once Upon a Time.

The dress looked red on TV and I think it looks a little heavy but loved the color !

 

Kat Dennings - Our lovely sarcastic Max from Two Broke Girls.

That thing in the belly looks a little unecessary to me..What do you think?

 

Kristen Wiig - What happened to her?, Did she get invited on the same day and didn´t have the time to look for a dress or go to hair and make up?

 

Kaley Couco in Angel Sanchez gown. Terrible hair and make up, I like the dress though.

 

 

 

Well this sums up my Sunday night, lots of new fashion to watch and I already spotted some trends that I'll be posting these days.

*Fashion* : Rock the wedges

There are times in our shopping lives when we look at one item and we fall in love, you know that feeling, right? Well, It just happened to me ( like many other times in the past, * shocking * ).

This time I fell in love with the below Nine West wedges that are to die for!  El Salvador is a very very warm country, it's like summer all year long, even though it rains, you will still feel hot ! that's how it is, a lot of people from other countries tell me that they envy my weather because it's always sunny and hot.  I think it has its advantages, but on the fashion side, it makes me mad that I can't wear as many scarves and cute jackets because of that ! so everytime it gets a little cold, I never miss the opportunity to wear something like that.

Well, enought about the weather, below are the wedges I'm talking about. I love to pair them with cropped jeans ( it makes me look so tall ! yay ! ) but above all, they are extremely confortable, it's amazing, I'm in love. In the future, I will be styling them with dresses, so I'll be posting back on that too :)

I put together the outfit below, this is basically how I go to work, love a casual, girly, fresh look.

This has been a crazy week, hasn't it? Fashion Week started yesterday with Fashion Night Out and tons of events throughout New York. Wish there were things like that in Central America..
